We are a registered non-governmental organization working in rural India, especially in parts of Bengal and Odisha. We are JPS International and we work to provide better education and health to the children and women specifically. We also report cases of Human Rights Violations where mostly the underprivileged section of the society faces a lot of oppression to achieve their basic rights. At JPS, we have expert volunteers to work in the rural areas and persuade people to accept the modern amenities to live a healthy life. We organize a monthly health camp at the Local High School in Amarpur, situated at Burdwan in West Bengal. As people rarely get medical treatment for their different conditions in the village, we try to bring experienced professional physicians from City hospitals to provide them necessary treatment to provide ngo work in Amrapur. We also make sure the prescribed medicines are distributed free of cost to the villagers. We also organize some clinical test setups like x-ray, ECG, blood test and more.
JPS also provides necessary accessories and equipment for the distressed children in the local school. Yes, JPS offers regular eye check-ups also for the people who have normal eye problems related to power or cataracts. Besides providing medicines for eye care, we also arrange for eye operations too. Not only in Amrapur, but also in every village and state, we try to empower the women with education. From school level to higher studies, we try to make sure the girls are getting the opportunity to learn basic education.
JPS don’t offer clothes and other daily things regularly but we organize drives at specific timing of the year, specially at the time of occasions to provide them clothes and good food to make their festivities brighter at the ngo in Amrapur.
