We have been working in different parts of Bengal and Orissa for more than a decade now. Jougram is another place where we also provide our service in different sections as per the requirement of the people. JPS International is a well-known NGO in this sector which has been working on arranging health camps and fighting for different Human Rights violation issues for many years now. We have also tried to reach students as an ngo in Jougram, to provide basic education and resources connected to the learning. We have a mission to make people able to get resources for living a normal and healthy life.
We have worked on different fields in this specific location. As the healthcare services are not up to the level, we organize the camps at Gopalpur Muktakeshi High School and Ajhapur High School. Not only seniors but also students of schools (class5-12) were part of our health camps and we also provide free medicines as prescribed by the doctors at the camps. We also brough renowned ophthalmologist in the camps to check the eyes of the patients and they also prescribe spectacles and surgeries to the patients as required.
Also, as a part of our ngo work in Jougram, we planted some saplings in the area as mentioned by the locals. We have also promised to plant more when required. JPS tried to plant different types as we acknowledge the requirement of diverse nature. At the Ajhapur High School, we have established a sanitary napkin machine for the girls to get them as and when required. Our expert team has also given demonstration of how to use the machine. We can arrange for sanitary pads in future to the school at lower rate.
Absolutely, we have been registered in the Number of S/2L36267 for more than a decade now. You can be assured to get connected with a registered and duly licensed organization for such welfare work.
We have not still organized such vaccination in Jougram yet but if the locals report such necessity, we will try our best to organize such vaccination camps.
Yes, we consider that awareness regarding the fact is very necessary among students since the early years and not only will establishing vending machines not be enough. Our members try to make the girls understand the process and become much more open about such issues.
